It’s like clockwork. Any positive momentum towards actually achieving Republicans’ campaign promises is inevitably attacked by Republicans themselves.
Case in point: House Republicans are attacking Elon Musk to the liberal media.
It’s even worse than that. Some are actually rooting for Republicans to lose in Wisconsin’s unusually important Supreme Court race, just to stick it to Elon and get rid of him:
An “April 1st massacre” would be “a beautiful thing,” said one of the GOP lawmakers, because it would rouse congressional Republicans to the damage Musk is doing and hand political capital to the lawmakers facing the most difficult races next year.
There are too many conservatives out there who still have no clue What Time It Is.
The clock on the wall still says “Republicans are NOT your friend”.

They’re not interested in cutting spending. At all. They’ve proven this over and over again, every single election, since Taft. Yet people still keep rewarding them with votes.
They’re not interested in cutting fraud. The big hubbub at the moment is over the entitlement programs. But how many Americans know that 53% of Social Security recipients are under the age of 64?
Are they interested in justice at all? You tell me. The clock on my wall says it’s “No One Has Been Arrested O’Clock”.
“Tax cuts” – the only thing they can hang their hat on – usually amounts to little more than minor fiddling at the extreme margins of marginal income tax rates.
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times. You can’t get rid of the uniparty if every times you go to the ballot box, you vote GOP no matter what because “they’re better than the Democrats.”
Accountability starts at home.
